About Dietetic and Nutritional Care
Durdans Hospital’s dietetic and nutritional care offers nutrition advice and therapy for a variety of health conditions of patients and their families and develop individualised diet plans to suit their specific requirements. Our dietitians and nutritionists are qualified professionals who can be consulted by patients directly or via referrals.

Diets of inpatients are registered on admission and given to the Food and Beverages department, where they will be carefully assessed and aligned with medical instruction for preparation of patient meals. This service is mandatory for patients, when requested by their respective consultants.

Patients’ requirements within the prescribed diet are met to ensure a healthy and balanced diet during their stay. Special menus are available to cater to those with diet restrictions. Meals are prepared by experienced chefs in close consultation with the dietitian and nutritionist.
