Durdans Heart Centre is an established centre of excellence offering cardiac investigations and procedures by an entirely resident team of professional healthcare practitioners. Led by a senior renowned consultant surgeon, we offer world-class comprehensive cardiac care to all our patients.
Our cardiac patients generally come through one of three routes. We offer them the following:
Emergency Treatment
Patients arriving under emergencies following acute heart conditions are taken to Accident & Emergency. Following emergency treatment, the attending cardiologist will decide on the most appropriate procedure based on professional expertise.
Pre-planned Procedures
Patients can visit Durdans Heart Centre on a planned basis for elective procedures on their physician’s or cardiologist’s advice due to chest pain or other related symptoms. They will undergo investigations where simple to advanced diagnostic tests are performed in a designated area. If these indicate any cardiac pathology, an angiogram (a medical imaging technique used to visualise the inside of blood vessels) will be performed. The results will then indicate the pathway that needs to be taken.

Patients are directed to our heart centre for cardiac investigations under our healthcare programmes. Any indication of cardiac pathology will prompt our specialists to advise the patient to seek further expert attention.

The Durdans Cardiac Forum educates cardiac patients and their families on healthy living in order to help them alter their lifestyles and prevent cardiac issues. As an ongoing CSR project, the forum supports Durdans' endeavour to create awareness amongst its loyal patrons, whilst facilitating them with preventative healthcare.
The forum brings together cardiac surgeons, cardiologists and nutritionists to share their knowledge and expertise on leading a healthy lifestyle. The audience is encouraged to clarify their queries and concerns with these specialists.
