Dr. Adithya Salgado is the Resident Consultant Radiologist at Durdans Radiology, Durdans Hospital.
Previously, he has held positions as Consultant Radiologist at District General Hospital (Negombo) and Lady Ridgeway hospital for Children (Colombo 08) and has been attached to the Division of Interventional Radiology – National Hospital of Sri Lanka.
He has extensive experience in conducting diagnostic and basic interventional angiographic procedures, reporting plain radiographs, CT, Ultrasound, fluoroscopy and nuclear imaging , oncological imaging, gynaecology and obstetrics imaging, neuroradiology, chest imaging, doppler studies, US guided interventions and biopsy.
Dr Salgado is a Fellow in Radiology at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Adelaide, Australia.
He is a life member of Sri Lanka College of Radiologists and a member of the Society of Cardiovascular Computer Tomography (SCCT)
Dr. Salgado is the author of several published papers including those related to diagnostic imaging in Paediatric patients and Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD).
